Reiki or IET, Which One is for Me? Similarities and Differences of IET Healing or Integrated Energy Therapy vs Reiki:
{{Privy:Embed campaign=144008}}
There are many differences between Reiki and Integrated Energy Therapy (or IET healing for short), but there are a number of similarities, as well. For one, Reiki is more mainstream and, to some, easier to understand and learn. Integrated Energy Therapy brings energy healing to a deeply emotional level.
Read on to determine, which form of healing, Reiki or IET, resonates with you:
First off, I would be happy to introduce you to both, if you live in the area of Boulder, Colorado!
IET healing is much like Reiki, in that both are “spiritual”, relaxing and calming. Both are given by specially trained and attuned practitioners with only good intentions.
In both, the energy runs through the practitioners hands, into specific areas on the client. Both have a wonderful and profound effects.
Reiki uses “Universal Healing Energy” harvested through the practitioner into Chakras, to then transfer to the recipient person or healing animals in a Reiki session.
Integrated Energy Healing comes and goes from the “Angelic Heart Link” and through the practitioner’s hands also. In each, the client may feel heat, or swirling energy or nothing at all in the moment.
Reiki puts healing energy into the Chakra’s (7 major and 322 minor Chakras). Integrated Energy Healing has a specific 4 part hand position in each area.
Each area harbors “issue” in our “tissues” according to Stephen Thayer, Reiki Master and IET developer. In IET healing, the practitioner “draws out” the “issue” and replaces it with a specific word or intention of good.
Both are spiritual and emotional but IET healing seems to go more into an emotional realm, in experiences with my clients. The idea here is not to forget that something bad or traumatic happened, but rather lessen the impact on our bodies and our psyche.
In Reiki, through the use of symbols passed down from the ancient Tibetans “Cell Memory Technique” can also be done. This too will “draw out” deep seated issues, which are ready to come to the surface and when the client is ready to understand or deal with them.
It is important to note here, that all of us have things that bother us, eat away at us or hurt us. Each of us deals with things in our own way, on our own terms and in our own time.
Whether it’s Integrated Energy Therapy vs Reiki that has you wondering which is the best healing energy for you, it will certainly do you good to try out both, though it may take more than one session for you to understand which resonates with you or for a spiritual connection to begin.
I find that once you have researched and read books about Reiki, had several healing sessions, or have attended multiple Reiki shares, and the understanding deepens, each one becomes more and more meaningful on a deeper level and more aspects of your life will transform and bloom!

i have experienced Both… I am a level 3 Reiki healer and I have also just been through IET with Sheila Tillisch… I did not tell my Reiki Master that I was doing this and Sheila was able to reset some deep emotional scars for me… I feel “different” I feel “cleansed” I feel “reset” I feel “amazing” It actually did work to the core of my cells.. I went to my level 3 Reiki Master after seeing my IET therapist Sheila and without word to her, she confirmed that my DNA has shifted and cleared and she didn’t feel any blockages in my aura… I have been going to her for 2 years… this was her first time ever saying this and her people and my people talk often… I am very close to her… I also clean her Wellness center.. So this was amazing validation of how I actually truly felt… Namaste my sisters and brothers May you all raise your vibration and come with us..

Thank you Kristine Codding for your validation on actual healing with IET compared to Reiki. My purpose and passion are empowering others to self-heal. I have been an IET Master-Instructor since 2014 and now am a Master-Instructor Trainer for The Center of Being were IET originated. There is not another version or type of IET like there is Reiki. IET is taught the same globally. It is practiced in over 76 countries and is standardized in it’s teaching. This meaning, only IET Master-Instructor can teach IET and they are taught by IET Master-Instructor Trainers through The Center of Being, under the guidance of Stevan Thayer, founder of IET and The Center of Being.
As a healer in both modalities, Reiki and IET, there is a HUGE difference in their abilities. Also, the IET attunement is a higher frequency than Reiki allowing cellular negative blockages removal and imprints positive harmony imprints back. IET system is built upon the 12-Strand Spiritual DNA. According to ArchAngel Ariel, all life follows a divine blueprint that we have labeled DNA. Science has discovered the first two physical strands of the DNA blueprint. It has been discovered to be the double helix building block of all life. There are five other double helix pairs in the DNA system. The six pairs are called the 12-Strand spiritual DNA. In the 12-Strand system, the first pair is physical, and the other five pairs are none-physical energy imprints in the Human Energy field. This ability is heart-centered making the connection between the Universal Quantum energy and the energy of Mother Earth. This connection allows for negative cellular blockages to be removed on a physical, emotional, mental and spiritual level. I am also a Master Reiki Practitioner. I have experienced these differences between the two modalities as I use both as needed.
