Hello, I’m Deborah, a Reiki Master living in Arizona.
As far back as childhood, I can remember being interested in all forms of health, including alternative healing.
In adulthood, I became a career healthcare professional, having worked in various settings and positions within the healthcare industry, starting as a nurse.
Over the years, I began to practice Pilates as a form of exercise and and even taught classes. This was a step in the direction of teaching and guiding others. Eventually, I continued to expand my awareness of healing modalities and included energy healing. In particular, I became very passionate about Reiki.
After enrolling in Reiki training courses, while living in Connecticut, I became “attuned” and increased my knowledge of the practice of Reiki. Eventually, I felt guided to become a Reiki Master and share my gifts with others.
Along the way, I attended Reiki shares within my local community of energy healers. Eventually, I started offering Reiki healing nearby to family and friends (including my “healing animals“), as often as possible.
In 2014, I relocated to Colorado and wasn’t sure how to continue to develop my Reiki practice, since everyone I knew at the time in this space was from Connecticut. I was also confused as to what to do with The Light Of Happiness website.
After speaking to my son, Ricky, who creates and services websites (and is also a Reiki Level 2 practitioner, himself), I was encouraged and decided to focus on new possibilities that I hadn’t previously considered!
Since I was relocating and unable to offer a dedicated space to provide Reiki sessions, I intended TLOH to serve as a platform that connects the Reiki community from all across the US!

Now, in 2023, I serve the Mesa and greater Phoenix area as a Reiki Master, practitioner and guide to others along their journey of healing.
